5 min. plank drills



Hey Junkies,

Ok so if you just don't have any time today to workout or get any sort of activity in, I challenge you to this quick 5 min exercise.

I promise you that you will feel awesome after just these 5 mins. Your shoulders will get a great burn and your core will feel tight. Who doesn't have time for 5 mins?

Hey for those of you heading to the gym...bring this one with ya... its a great way to finish your workout at the gym.. grab a mat find a quiet place, set your timer, crank up your mp3 and kick it up!!! Then stretch and go on with your day!!!

I've said it before and i will say it again... The plank will and has given me my best results in my core!!! Those longated exercises are perfect for building definition in your stomach. I love laying my mat up next to the cable machine at the gym and while in that plank pulling at the cables to do a little tricep kick backs, shoulder lateral movements..etc. It really intensifies the plank and boy do i fell unstoppable after!!!

  1. Whoa! I'm more of a beginner that stays away from any spinal flexion ab exercises. No crunches, situps, any of that stuff. My readers might like to try something like this as a strong finish to an interval session. I just found your site and would like to follow along.
